Through Hotaling’s Wealth for Women program, Valerie focuses her activism on women’s unique investing and planning needs, particularly during transitional stages of their lives. A graduate of Germantown Academy in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, Valerie attended Hollins College in Virginia, where she earned a degree in 18th Century English Literature and also studied at the University of London. Valerie is on the advisory board of the globally celebrated Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) conference in Philadelphia, a member of POWER, Power of Professional Women, Wayne Business Association, Stenton Mansion, Crown Society of Sulgrave Manor, 1539, England, The National Society of Colonial Dames of America and Uncoupling Divorce Resource Group of Greater Philadelphia. Passionate about the arts she subscribes to the Wayne Art Center, Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Barnes Foundation and many local area artists and performing artists centers.
